Asia and Europe are waiting on potential monetary policy changes tonight (Japan) or tomorrow (ECB and UK). The Globex session had a narrow range before the 8:15am EDT ADP report which missed rather handily. However, the ES didn’t respond and waited on the cash open. Sellers came in strong after the cash open and a nice short opportunity quickly unfolded as price could not move higher.
