From Bloomberg: “The U.S. securities industry canceled equity trading on all markets today, moving to protect workers as Hurricane Sandy barreled toward New York City with 70-mile-per-hour winds and the threat of an 11-foot sea surge.”
The CME is also shutting down all operations at 9:15am EST. DTG will not be trading today and will resume once the US markets resume. There is the possibility that the market closures may extend into tomorrow, Oct 20.
